A Little About Amber

Always a Mama first. Amber is the founder of Mindful Vinyasa School of Yoga , the creator of The Mindful Classrooms Project  & Mindful Mamas, and author of Mindful Mama, Moments of Pause for Mothers. She is also a founding member of The Body Mind Being Project and has extensive training in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Mindfulness.  Amber blends mindfulness, sensitivity, challenge, and fun into her classes, programs, teacher training, and life. When she isn't teaching she's probably out in the woods, reading poetry, singing, or playing with her two young boys.

Here are some nice things others have said about Amber...

Amber is one of those rare individuals who lives in and through a fully engaged heart. Her clarity exposes the ego through the use of carefully worded questions which can bring those in her care to share that heart space with her. She is a gifted healer and teacher.
— Elizabeth Beau, Founder of Practical Peace and Co-Author of Fourteen Inches to Peace, Seven Simple Steps to Move from Your Head to Your Heart
Amber is a gifted listener and is entirely present in our time together. Often, to start moving my own goals forward all I need is a supportive sounding board and a motivating influence. Amber provides that for me like so few in my life ever have!
— Sarah Rose, College Admissions Counselor
Amber walks her talk and embodies her message with every move she makes. If you’re looking for a woman who stands for what she believes in and is 100% committed to helping others access the same freedom, you’ve got your girl! I absolutely adore her in every way.
— Geralyn Power, International Lifestyle and Business Strategist
Amber taught yoga to couples during a segment of my Sacred Pregnancy series. The couples loved it and the women in class told me that the session enhanced their connection to their partners. Amber radiates love and light and is a commitment to what she stands for - empowering individuals.
— Kristin Revere, Founder of Gold Coast Doulas and Sacred Pregnancy Instructor
Amber and I worked together in a community organizing capacity for many years, and I can attest that she is a force for good. But , as a fellow mama, I can tell you there is no one I would rather have on my side. Amber is gentle , supportive, and ready to help mamas manage the stresses of juggling babes, self, partner, and home. I recommend her without hesitation to anyone in need of support.
